He is presently a member of World Quality Council, the Elmer A. Sperry Board of Award, SAE International G-41 Reliability Committee, the Integrated Design and Manufacturing Committee and session chairman of SAE International World Congresses in Detroit since 2012. His vast experience and innovation enable him to create a new direction for the successful prediction of product efficiency during any given time, including accurate simulation of real-world conditions, accelerated reliability and durability testing technology,and reducing recalls. His approach has been verified in various industries, primarily automotive, farm machinery, aerospace, and aircraft industries. Biographie:
Lev Klyatis' major scientific/technical expertise has been in the development of new direction for the successful prediction of product efficiency during any given time, including reliability and durability testing technology, and accurate simulation of real-world conditions. This direction is based on new ideas and unique approach will lead to future development for improving society. This new direction was founded on the integration of real-world inputs, safety aspects, and human factors, improvement in the engineering culture, and accelerated product development. Developing a new methodology for reducing complaints and recalls, he formalized concepts on how to avoid the negative aspects of accelerated testing and prediction, and the misconceptions that are prevalent in today's, and especially could be tomorrow's (autonomous vehicles and digitalization) engineering. His approach has been verified in various industries, primarily automotive, farm machinery, aerospace, andaircraft industries. He has shared these methods working as a consultant to Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Nissan, Toyota, Jatko Ltd., Thermo King, Black and Decker, NASA Research Centers, Carl Schenk, and many others. He has selected to be on the US - USSR Trade and Economic Council, The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the USA Representative for the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and International Standardization Organization (ISO). He also served as an expert at the ISO/IEC Joint Study Group in Safety Aspects of Risk Assessment. He was the research leader and chairman of the State Enterprise TESTMASH, Moscow, Russia, and principal engineer of a state test center.
