    • Résumé :
Neil Callery, Sheila's father, has vanished without a trace following his wife's death. He has been missing six years. Sheila refuses to believe her father is dead, convinced that she would have felt it deep within her soul if he was. Now Sheila discovers that her devious sister Rose plans to sell their childhood home. Homelessness looms over her like a dark cloud. As a waitress with a modest salary, she simply cannot afford to buy out her sister's share. Finding herself at a crossroads and desperately running out of time, she goes in search of answers, beginning on the sun-kissed island of Cyprus and ending on the enchanting volcanic island of Tenerife. As the possibility of her father being declared legally dead looms closer, will she unearth the truth in time to save her family home and secure her own future? As she navigates through treacherous landscapes, encounters unforgettable characters, and unravels secrets that have remained buried for far too long, every step she takes brings her closer to the truth about her father's disappearance and, perhaps to discovering her true self. With richly developed characters, expertly woven plots, and soul-stirring themes, prepare yourself to embark on an unforgettable journey of love, loss, and the indomitable human spirit.
