An acclaimed speaker at conferences worldwide, his books include Clean Code (Prentice Hall, 2009), Agile Software Development : Principles, Patterns, and Practices (Prentice Hall, 1999), and UML for Java Programmers (Prentice Hall, 2003). A prolific writer, Martin has published hundreds of articles, papers, and blogs. He served as editor-in-chief of The C++ Report, and as the first chairman of the Agile Alliance. Martin founded and leads Object Mentor, Inc., an international firm of highly experienced software developers and managers who specialize in helping companies get their projects done.
