Online learning has been a permanent subject among educationists. As information and communication technology is facilitated, education has managed to provide a global learning environment, which allows the learner to access the course material anytime, anywhere, connect with other learners, and get access to the content without considering any geographical boundaries. Another commercially successful initiative is M.B.A. programmes being conducted for working professionals using Satellite Video technology, by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) institutions. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, has sanctioned a Major Research Project on A KAP Study on Online Learning among the Students and Teachers of Management Education in Tamil Nadu for the period of two years.
