Ever since I can remember, I have never been able to stop questioning my surroundings: Why did this happen? Why do they think like this? What is the correct thing to do? Where do I start? Who am I? As a teenager, the world is new and unexplored; through conversations, we perceive and through lessons, we learn. Experiencing continuous doubt and chaos daily, I was lost as to where to start. As I slowly cultivated an understanding of the world around me, I gathered my thoughts within this book of 33 titles that acted as a set of guidelines for me to stick by. These writings were 'a starting point' for me to finally construct a philosophy to help me interpret the world. I hope this book acts as 'a starting point' for you too to help you navigate through your own understanding of life.
Biographie:
Olivia Tak is a 17-year-old writer whose life is constantly marked by a multitude of changes. She finds the most room for introspection when she is saturating her day with music and within the company of her cat Guchu. She enjoys studying psychology, and aims to eventually grasp the functioning of the human psyche one day. She treasures the solace she finds only at night, in which she aggregated this book into one of the most precious pieces of writing she has ever done.
