To reconstruct is to take something that has been broken or damaged and put the pieces back together again. She is broken, she is damaged, she doesn't know what whole is supposed to look like. The thought of being unbroken is so unknown to her. She is slowly finding the missing pieces, slowly piecing herself together, slowly finding out who she is inside. She will never stop searching, finding, creating, and reconstructing herself. She has spent so long stuck in the realm of barely surviving. Consumed by all the pain, the what ifs, the constant chaos inside herself. She has always been hiding behind the mask that she created long ago. Actively fighting all the storms raging within herself, just trying to make it through one more day, everyday. She was hopeless, so lost inside and she couldn't see a way out of the dark. She thought the fight was over, that her demons had won, until somehow there was just enough light shining through to give her enough strength to keep holding on. If you are consumed by your own darkness, if you feel broken, lost, or alone, if you feel hopeless, please don't give up, don't let go. Keep searching, you're not alone and you can find yourself.
