Kingdom discipleship is not simply attending weekly church gatherings, or being a good Christian, or merely reading your Bible and being consistent in your prayer life, or hiding behind your good works, but rather demonstrating and exemplifying Christ in you and Christ through everything you do. Are you doing the Lord's business until He comes? And Jesus said to them, Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business? Luke 2:46 True kingdom disciples never graduate from the school of discipleship; rather, they are continual students until the day they die. Making others greater than you are the heart and essence of biblical discipleship. True biblical discipleship is not about cloning others into your own image, but to help others to discover their own identity and purpose. Are people drawn to you because of who you are or because of who you are in Christ? The true essence of discipleship is to help others in discovering their identity in Christ and their identity through Christ. If you call yourself a disciple of Jesus but don't change, and nothing or no one around you changes, then you're just a regular churchgoer.
