RACHEL FANSHAW is a teacher, artist, mom, and avid library card collector. She grew up in a small town in Maryland, and she currently resides in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, two children, and pup, Saffy. Rachel was inspired to write this book by her daughter's endless curiosity and tangled hair. With a M.Ed. in Reading, Rachel embraces the importance of instilling a love of reading in every child and to encourage a spirit of imagination.
