Présentation Venom Reef Format Broché
- Livre Littérature Générale
Résumé :
She surfaced too fast. Spluttering, she trod water gently, trying not to splash, trying not to look like prey. Television journalist Callie Brown leaps at the chance to make a documentary on an idyllic tropical island-even though she's not sure about working with Jack Metcalf again. In a remote corner of Australia's Great Barrier Reef, some of the world's most venomous creatures are yielding compounds that could change the face of medical research forever. When nature turns against the island's inhabitants, is it a freak occurrence or something more sinister? As danger escalates, Callie and Jack will have to stop fighting each other and start fighting for their lives. But first, they must work out who among the dwindling group of survivors is determined to destroy them......
Biographie:
Belinda Pollard is an award-winning former journalist who loves mountain hiking despite bad knees and a fear of heights. She has been a professional writer and book editor for decades and was a contributor to the Closer to God series for many years. The words Poison Bay on a New Zealand map triggered her journey to the sinister end of the bookshelf. Spooky and remote, it was a location just begging for a mystery. She writes the Wild Crimes series, light memoir, Bible devotionals and resources for writers. Her writing prizes include a Varuna Fellowship. Belinda lives in Brisbane, Australia where she undertakes ball-throwing duties for a dog named Rufus, and turns on the air-conditioning so she can dream of snow......
