He is a science editor for a National Laboratory, a member of the National Association for Interpretation, and the Children & Nature Network, lives by a coastal river in a forest rich with wildlife, minutes from Pacific surf, writing nature books and articles. His three grandchildren are just starting to explore their marvelous natural world....
