The Wish Thief is a fantasy novel set in a world in which everyone is born with a Wish to make when coming of age. Vlad Glaveanu is a Romanian psychologist living and working in Dublin. He is professor of psychology at Dublin City University and the author of numerous books on creativity, imagination, wonder, and human possibility. Some of his titles include Wonder: The Extraordinary Power of an Ordinary Experience (Bloomsbury Press), Creativity: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford University Press) and The Palgrave Encyclopedia of the Possible (Palgrave Macmillan).
