Biographie:
A resident of Nova Scotia, Dr. James R. MacDonald is originally from North Carolina, a descendant of the Highland Scottish settlers that immigrated to the Cape Fear River Valley. His education includes a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh in Scottish Studies and a degree in Gaelic from Sabhal M?r Ostaig, the Gaelic college in Skye. Dr. MacDonald taught Celtic Studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and has tutored many Gaelic learners. He currently teaches through Comunn G?idhlig Thoronto / The Toronto Gaelic Society.
