Résumé : The death of Naomi's father should be the happiest day of her life. But when she prepares to finally flee her small Missouri town, a run-in with a new neighbor, Clara, makes Naomi reconsider leaving. As she grows closer to Clara, and reconnects with her estranged younger brother, Aaron, she thinks maybe she can nurture a newfound peace in a place that never felt like home. However, Clara's controlling husband and town marshal, as well as a force much more ancient and insidious, threaten to break the new ties that bind her there. Biographie:
Gaeli Love Weiss is a horror writer from Missouri. She studied film production at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design before attending the University of New Mexico where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and criminology. During these years, Gaeli assisted with psychology and neuroscience research in prisons focusing on substance use and psychopathy. Currently, she lives on the Rhode Island coast with her husband, Daniel; her two dogs, Pasha and Olive; and Dave, the cat.
