Someday, Somewhere is a compilation of sixty-eight paired original photographs and poems. Each photograph is paired with a poem written for and inspired by its photograph. The book deals with common themes of the human condition-love and loss, belief and doubt, joy and sadness. Working within the confines of rhyme and meter, the poetry is written to be appreciated by readers who share the matters of humanity.
Biographie:
David Jennings is an amateur photographer and formalist poet. Dreams Like Mine is his fourth collection of paired photographs and poems. His first book, The Smallest Hint (2022), was the Oklahoma Book Awards winner for photography in 2023. Someday, Somewhere (2023) was a finalist in the same category in 2024. The Ashes was released in the fall of 2024. The author is a rehabilitation physician in Oklahoma where he resides with his wife and daughter....
