En 2022, Alice Cooper a étroitement collaboré avec les membres de son groupe sur scène et son producteur de longue date Bob Ezrin, créant de toute pièce Road son tout nouvel album studio. Sur ce nouvel opus on retrouve une certaine énergie et légèreté derrière chaque riff, ramenant ainsi l'esprit du Alice Cooper à l'ancienne et cette fois ses acolytes Ryan Roxie (guitare), Chuck Garric (basse), Tommy Henrikson (guitare), Glen Sobel (batterie), et Nita Strauss (guitare) conduisent à ses côtés. Des invités spéciaux sont également présents sur cet album comme Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Keith Nelson (Buckcherry) ou encore Wayne Kramer (MC5).
