    • Résumé :
Big Sober Energy is a book about how to harness and direct energy to create an extraordinary life that's worth staying sober for. Part memoir, part spiritual development guide, this book offers eleven concrete practices designed to help you rewrite harmful narratives, rebuild self-trust, hone your intuition, and invest in communities that support personal and collective liberation. If traditional recovery narratives don't resonate with you, you need this book in your life. Big Sober Energy will help you...Learn how energy work can make your recovery more joyful, sustainable, and magical. Understand how your brain works without needing a Ph.D. in neuroscience. Use proven mindfulness techniques to cope with stress, anxiety, and cravings. Nurture a loving and compassionate relationship with yourself, even if you've never had one. Master your ability to navigate other people and the world without alcohol. Big Sober Energy is a must-read for anyone who sees recovery as a beautiful journey, not a restrictive punishment. Whether you are new to energy mastery or a seasoned spiritual practitioner, this book is a powerful primer for readers who want to tune their lives to sobriety. After ending what she mistakenly thought was a love story with alcohol, author Adrienne van der Valk struggled to see her experience reflected in traditional alcoholism recovery resources or sobriety books for women. After years of research, self-study, and connecting with other like-minded sober people, she decided to compile the practices that took her from weekly blackouts to thriving in recovery. From reuniting body and soul to wrangling money monsters to solving the time-suck of social media, each chapter offers specific, try-today suggestions that can enhance your recovery and your life!...
