A collection of poems in Persian by Rustam 'Ali Khan Adib (1832-1890), an Indian poet and courtier in the service of the Nizam of Hyderabad. The poems reflect Adib's love for nature, his Sufi beliefs, and his nostalgia for his native land. They are written in a simple, direct style, and often use folk and local idioms. This edition includes a biographical introduction and explanatory notes.
