The experimental procedure that helped Vital survive her injury also creates a bridge to Lisa's world. Lisa and Vital now share the same body, the same space and must coexist in order to survive. Who is in control? Who has body autonomy? Both Vital and Lisa must work together if they are both going to survive. The government wants their multibillion-dollar project back.
