Home is Not Lost could be considered a chronological description of a life. The author has arranged her poems to indicate the various stages and ways of dealing with or ways of experiencing life. Some poems are joyful, or playful, some are not. They are all as truthful as she could make them.
Biographie:
Jean B. Fleischauer was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, taught fourth grade for three years and then attended Pennsylvania State University to gain certification as a school psychologist. She worked as a school psychologist in the Pittsburgh Schools until she retired in 1993. She retired early to care for her husband and to explore her interests in pottery, poetry, prose, and watercolor. Home Is Not Lost is her first publication.
