She mostly worked as a care-worker in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, and Germany where she lived for several years. About twenty years ago, she started writing creatively after she'd kept travel journals while traveling / backpacking through quite a few countries where she met people from a variety of cultures and experienced their different countries.
