Présentation 112 Haiku Format Broché
- Livre Manga
Résumé :
In this second collection of poetry William Winslow distills often overlooked moments in life into the 17 syllables of traditional Hailu. Many of his observations are traditional as well - addressing the seasons and the daily encounters with the natural world which we frequently fail to acknowledge. ? Those who seek out poetry in all its varied forms and those who appreciate all things Japanese will enjoy this collection - especially so if they also have a fondness for dogs or the mountains of western North Carolina.
Biographie:
William Winslow lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He earned his BA in English from the Virginia Military Institute, served a tour in Vietnam-for which he received a Bronze Star-and later received an MS in Public Administration from the University of Missouri. He is a member of the Poetry Society of South Carolina and has had several competitively selected poems appear in that organization's annual yearbook. He is a longtime member of the Academy of American Poets and is a member of the Haiku Society of America.
