In 1791 a mysterious object appeared in the heavens. Bigger than most cities, the Elysium object drifts in the orbit of the moon. From whence it came, nobody knows. But many believe it had always been up there, waiting for the right time to reemerge from the void. Others believe it's nothing but a mirage. But even illusions serve a purpose. Ghulam Ali was one of the rare visionaries who attempted to reach the object by a rocket in the 1820s. But both missions ended with fatal results. After repeated failures, Ghulam Ali became a recluse on the ocean platform called the Babylon Project. Fifty years later, a Chairman of the Association of Ishtar travels to his Island with an armed delegation of elite soldiers known as The Airborn Dragoons. What could she want of the disgraced visionary? The Association of Ishtar is a series created by Bonsart Bokel in collaboration with various illustrators from all over the world. The Association is a clandestine organization investigating anomalies called Rifts - portals to other worlds. Most are harmless, but some lead to planes containing more advanced human civilizations or alien lifeforms.
