Are we born with our behaviors, or do we learn them? Do our stories start at birth, or are they crafted throughout our life experiences? Can we actually change our beliefs as an adult or is the adage people don't change true? If people get to know the real me, they leave. If I want to create change, I must create chaos and crisis first. I am not worthy, and therefore things will always end up falling apart. Sound familiar? AnnMarie Santamarina, a connection coach with clients all over the world, carried these stories of abandonment and not belonging well into her forties. These beliefs kept her tethered to a certain course in life and reinforced the patterns she learned and perpetuated. After living with a victim mentality for years-blaming others and existing only in survival mode-AnnMarie knew something needed to change.
