Biographie:
Born in Guernsey, Nicola's first memories are of island life. As a child, she moved to Warwickshire where she developed a love of animals and Geography. She left school and trained as a Primary School teacher and after teaching in Coventry for a number of years, she spent time in Cyprus teaching in International Schools. Outside of work, Nicola enjoys spending time with friends, travelling and playing the piano....

Poem book by Nicola Wood. Around 15% of the global population has a disability. Unfortunately, disabilities are still stigmatized and individuals struggle on a daily basis with challenges. I have written about the challenges which I and so many others face in this book and I hope reading these poems, can resonate with you. I hope the individual, family member, or friend can relate to these poems and know that there are people out there who just need to be accepted for who they are and not defined by their condition....
