Holy Mother Sarada Devi was a great soul born in the last century. She was the consort of the great saint Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa who was god incarnate and he experimented with the various school of Hindu philosophies and subsequent to that, with other great religions of the world. She extended full support to Her husband in all His great endeavors throughout His life and was of great moral and physical support to Him. .

She guided Sri Ramakrishna Mutt in many ways in its nascent stage till her last breath. Works left out by the great Swami Vivekananda required someone of high caliber to take to the next stage. She actively encouraged women's education and their upliftment and didn't support child marriage. During the freedom struggle, she encouraged self-help and encouraged indigenous industries, especially in cloth manufacturing. She didn't extend support to armed struggle and suggested going for the peaceful liberation of the motherland.

She was the ideal daughter to Her parents, the ideal sister to Her siblings, the ideal wife to Her great husband, the ideal master to all Her devotees, and the ideal mother to Her innumerable children. It is of great penance of the country that the Holy Mother was born in this great country.
