Biographie:
The author of this book, Anil Kumar Lakhera is an engineer by profession and a painter by heart. He did his engineering degree from Jabalpur Engineering college, in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1977. During the period from 1977 to 2015 he worked as Power Engineer in different Power Stations of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Co. erstwhile M.P.State Electricity Board in the State of Madhya Pradesh. He joined the Power Generating Co.as Asstt. Engineer in September 1977 and retired in 2015 as Executive Director. During last four years of his service, he served the company as Head Of the Power Station in Amarkantak Thermal Power Station Chachai / Anuppur, Satpuda Thermal Power Station Sarni / Betul and Sanjai Gandhi Thermal Power Station Birsinghpur / Umariya Distt. Since early chldhood he started painting under the guidance of his father late Shri Devram Lakhera. Till now he has exhibitted his work of art in various Solo and Group Exbitions. His paintings were selected twiceby Ustad Alauddeen Khan Sangeet evam Kala Akadamee (M.P.) for exhibitions organised by them. Reading, writing and theater are also included in his passion. He has directed (and acted in) some famous plays like Pagla Ghoda , Saaree Raat , Bakree, Aala Afsar etc. He also expresses his feelings both in prose and poetry in Hindi. Here-in he has chosen to repaint the colours of early childhood memories in the form of a book Aarambh (The beginning) covering span of initial ten to twelve years of his life. This bookwill be followed by three to four more volumes in future.
