Joel Walker walks away from the life he was born and raised in to make his own way on his own terms. After college, Joel lands an internship job with an international company, where he does a rotation between their plants. The last rotation of his internship takes him to Germany. Vowing to himself to fully experience his time there, Joel enjoys outings with his co-workers. A chance meeting one-night turns into fast friendships with a group of local guys, who promise to make Joel's visit memorable. Joel's co-workers and friends keep him busy experiencing the culture and sightseeing throughout Germany, as well as Europe. Will one of Joel's new friends be able to provide answers about a high school encounter that has been in the back of Joel's mind for years?...

Whitney Gayle grew up in rural America on a small family farm. There was always work to be done taking care of the animals, crops, gardens, or siblings. She often took books to the woods or barns and occasionally went up in a tree to have a few minutes to read. When she graduated from high school, she joined the Marine Corps for education and adventure. This is where she met and married the love of her life. While enjoying military life and traveling the world, they raised their family. Having been an avid reader her entire life and occasionally writing shorts, Whitney finally started writing in earnest after becoming an empty nester. In her writings, Whitney combines real-life experiences with a splash of fantasy, a dash of mystery, and a budding romance. Her writing consists of YA, NA, and Contemporary Romance genres....
