Résumé : The Lost World is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's thrilling science-fiction classic that takes readers on an expedition to an uncharted plateau deep in the Amazon rainforest--where prehistoric creatures still roam and time stands still. Led by the bold and eccentric Professor Challenger, a team of explorers ventures into this isolated world teeming with dinosaurs, ape-men, and ancient mysteries. With fast-paced action, scientific intrigue, and vivid imagination, this novel blends Edwardian adventure with timeless excitement. A precursor to modern-day adventure tales and Jurassic fantasies, The Lost World remains a cornerstone of classic speculative fiction. An expedition into the prehistoric unknown.
