Jean Davis writes an array of speculative fiction and plays with chickens. She lives in West Michigan with her musical husband, an attention-craving terrier, and a mostly friendly flock of fluffy fowl.She has written short story collections, a space opera series, stand-alone novels, children's books about her chickens, many projects that aren't yet finished, and a lot of pages that you will never see....

When taking a break from fictional people, she spends time with her musical husband, a small flock of ducks and chickens, and two attention-craving terriers. Occasionally, she ventures outside to play in her flower garden, visit the local breweries, and eat gluttonous amounts of sushi....
