After graduating with a BA in English Literature from the University of Vermont, I moved back home to be close to family, work at a school during the day, and teaching creative writing at night. I took my first creative writing class while in college, at St. Louis Writer's Workshop, and from there I was hooked. Many years later, I found myself living in a small town in Illinois, and married to a wonderful man. Together we have an amazing young son, who is absolutly the light of my life. I work at a retirement community and write in my spare time....
