Alison Cheah lives with her husband in Los Gatos, CA. She loves spending time with her six grandchildren and working with high school students at her church youth group. Her favorite way to spend an evening is reading a good story....

Alison Cheah lives with her husband in northern California near to where Aunt Sophia and Uncle Winston live. They attend Chinese Church in Christ which is the model for the church where Jessica meets Miss Melody. None of the characters in the book are based on any church members.
