Joey and Debra meet by pure chance, stranded by an unexpected snowstorm on their way to Albuquerque. Debra is leaving a small town in Arizona to start a new career as a nurse. Joey is on his way home after visiting his stepson in California. But they soon learn they have something in common other than their destinations. They each recently lost a loved one-likely murdered. Despite age and background differences, they rely on each other to fill the void. However, their relationship becomes more complicated as they deal with Debra's family issues and Joey's secret past....

Peter S. Eisenhut is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Rochester. He worked for two international organizations and as an independent consultant. He now spends his time doing volunteer work, hiking, and writing. The inspiration for his novels comes from his career experiences and his travels. Fateful Affairs follows his third novel, Final Project, his second novel, The Boulder Creek Project and his first novel, The Pen Project. Peter lives in Columbia Maryland with his wife Jean.
