Dawn Brotherton loves wrapping herself in her favorite quilt to read a good mystery or daydream about the next one she's writing. Her affection for travel and all-things-crafty keeps her imagination in high gear for the next Eastover Treasure Mystery. Dawn retired as a colonel after 28 years in the Air Force. Now she spends her time writing, crafting, coaching, and teaching. Her wide range of interests has expanded into her storytelling with books for all ages in various genres. She teaches for Osher at William and Mary, presents webinars for Military Writers Society of America and Sisters in Crime, and volunteers as a reviewer for York County's Reflection contest for literature. When she isn't using her words, Dawn is in her craft room, quilting, painting, or taking online classes....

Biographie:
Dawn Brotherton is an award-winning author and featured speaker at writing and publishing seminars. She completed her first novel, The Obsession, in 2010. When she realized the difficulty attracting the attention of traditional publishing houses and how much money they received from her efforts, she decided to go it alone. As a colonel in the Air Force, Dawn was no stranger to hard work. She set up Blue Dragon Publishing, LLC and started slowly taking on other authors. She retired from the military in October 2016 and truly ramped up her business, publishing ten new books and taking six new authors under her wing within the first two years. She now counts her flock as over 110 published authors. Dawn's objective from the beginning has been to mentor people through the publishing process, helping them reach their goals. She has expanded her company to include the Author Academy, student outreach, and community service....
