Résumé :
The aim of this book is to provide a contribution to the discussion on the teaching of social research methods at university levels. It contains an overview of our teaching experiences in the field of social research methodology, following a multidimensional approach that involves combining pedagogical models, the socio-cultural characteristics of the students and emerging e-leaming systems, with issues regarding the specific characteristics of the discipline. Whilst following the design, implementation and evaluation stages of the courses, the book provides insights into theoretical perspectives and applications that can help us to rethink and reformulate the teaching of social research methodology in new digital contexts.

Biographie:
Maria Carmela Catone is a visiting professor at the Department of Sociology of the University of Barcelona (Spain), where she teaches Scientific Methodology and Techniques of yodel Research. She was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences of the University of Salerno (Italy). Her research topics relate to both traditional and emerging issues concerning social research methodoogy and the practices used in the teaching of research methods through e-learning and ICT systems. Paolo DIANA is an associate professor at the Department of Political and Social Studies of the University of Salerno (Italy) where he teaches Social Research Methods, Open Data for Social Research and Digital Methods courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His area of expertise includes in particular quantitative and qualitative methods applied to the study of immigration, deviance and prison systems, e-learning and ICT, digital knowledge and complexity.
