Biographie:
Jon Klassen is the bestselling author and illustrator of The Rock from the Sky, The Skull, I Want My Hat Back, We Found a Hat, and This Is Not My Hat, which won the Caldecott Medal and Kate Greenaway Medal. He is also the illustrator of the Shapes series, Extra Yarn, which received a Caldecott Honor, Sam and Dave Dig a Hole and How Does Santa Go Down the Chimney? all written by Mac Barnett. His Shapes series with Mac Barnett has been adapted into Shape Island, a stop-motion animated TV series on Apple TV+. Before making picture books, he worked as an illustrator on the animated feature film, Coraline. Originally from Niagara Falls, Canada, Jon now lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and son.
