J'ai choisi ce recueil parce que je voulais lire la nouvelle sur laquelle est basée le film The Mist. La nouvelle est un peu longue, mais elle tient en haleine.
The raft a également été adatpé.
J'apprécie globalement les nouvelles de S. King, surtout quand elles font part belle au fantastique, mais j'avoue que je n'accroche pas systématiquement. Ainsi, The Monkey et Here There be Tygers seront assez étranges et effrayantes pour avoir ma faveur là où Mrs Todd's Shortcut sera trop floue et peinera à me maintenir en éveil malgré une idée originale.
