Even after more than a decade living in Rome, Duncan Garwood is still fascinated by the city he calls home. He first tell for the pla in 1996 after arriving at the crack of dawn on an overnight train from Bari and finding himself virtually the only visitor in Piazza Navona and St Peter's Basilica.
