Biographie:
Jon Hickey was born in Mankato, Minnesota, and grew up in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He's a member of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians (Anishinaabe). He earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MFA from Cornell University, and has earned scholarships and fellowships from Stanford University, the Sewanee Writers' Conference, and the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, among others. He lives with his wife and two children in the Richmond District of San Francisco.
